North Star Behavioral Health System in Anchorage is recruiting new Psychiatrists. There are several position options depending on clinical interests – Outpatient; C/L; Residential Treatment; and Inpatient. Patient populations treated may be adults, adolescents or children depending on specialty and treatment setting. The position duties for the Outpatient Counseling physician include initial psychiatric evaluations and assessments and medication management as well as some triage clinical care. For Inpatient and RTC duties include admission evaluations, direct clinical care of patients and treatment team leadership.
